Robyn Myhr, founder of Get Luminous, is passionate about helping people discover what foods and healthy life choices are right for them and for the future they want to create. She designs and facilitates personalized wellness programs that promote lasting change. Her warmth, enthusiasm and genuine love for her work result in a nurturing, step-by-step approach for achieving an enhanced level of personal and professional confidence. Robyn, a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, is a certified Health Coach and is accredited with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, which is affiliated with Columbia University’s Teacher’s College in New York. She is trained in both eastern and western nutrition theory. She has learned directly from master teachers within the wellness field, such as world-renowned medical doctors Deepak Chopra, Andrew Weil and Harvard University’s Walter Willet, as well as other best-selling authors and experts recognized for their scientific contributions, pioneering ideas and innovative solutions to the challenges and health concerns of modern life today. Robyn understands first-hand what it’s like to balance pursuing a demanding career with being healthy. Maintaining a successful career as an international model for more than 15 years, Robyn has personal experience with balancing the demands of career and a life schedule requiring a high level of self-motivation, energy and focus. I call that your 'glow.'” ~ Robyn Myhr Growing up, my diet consisted of sugar and fast food and I had the firm belief that potato chips and ketchup were vegetables. No wonder that I often felt like I was in a fog and on a rollercoaster of energy highs and lows! When I left home and became a model I needed to learn how to take care of myself and find balance in my new fast-paced life. This was the beginning of my study of health and life fulfillment.
In an effort to make something more out of myself and take my self-care education to a new level, I became certified as a yoga instructor. Yoga taught me how to listen to my body’s physical needs and to include quiet time and self-reflection in my life. I have always loved to move my body and believe that finding fun ways to incorporate physical activity is one important key to achieving balance and health. We are all unique individuals and finding an activity that inspires you helps keep you moving, both in body and mind.
I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York (while balancing the demands of a busy modeling career), and thus began my practice as a certified holistic health coach. When I started working with private clients, I knew I had found my true passion. I absolutely love helping people clear up dietary confusion and make better lifestyle choices that give them a clear path to the future they desire.
I continue to get the chills from the profound transformations my clients experience. I feel blessed to be a part of my clients’ personal and professional growth. So much can happen as a result of learning how to truly nurture your self with high-quality real foods, nourishing activities and empowering thoughts.

My Style I believe in the power of taking one step at a time. In our fast-paced culture, there’s always a push to handling everything YESTERDAY. In my experience, clients achieve greater and long-lasting success when they integrate healthy rituals into their lifestyle one step at a time, at a pace that is comfortable for them. I find that with this approach, resistance and self-sabotage become a thing of the past, and in time, each person becomes more aware of, and receptive to, his or her own inner guidance.
Coaching Sessions Developing healthy rituals is one tool that we’ll use to help you achieve and sustain your personal health, through all of life’s ups and downs. We’ll use those life events (stress, busy times and holidays) that would normally get you off track as coaching experiences so that you have an opportunity to build rituals of self-care that will help keep you on track, no matter what comes your way. During our sessions, we assess your progress together, including becoming more aware of what’s working well and what may still be holding you back. Through gentle and thoughtful questioning and engaging conversation, I will make practical, step-by-step recommendations to help move you, continuously and consciously, toward your health and life goals. I will recommend resources to help you apply what we cover in our sessions. I may guide you through an interactive exercise to help you access your own intuitive knowledge about what’s right for you. While you will always feel encouraged, I take pride in never overwhelming you with tons of to-dos or complicated plans. You will always leave our time together with personalized recommendations that are simple and practical to implement.
Luminous Approach My goal is to empower you to build, and rely upon, your own intuitive knowledge about which lifestyle choices and nourishing foods are best for you. I view each of my clients as an intelligent, capable, unique and whole person, and I foster an environment in which each client becomes more comfortable listening to him or herself, without judgment.
